15y A. Callaway Ntsbet, M.R.C.S., London, Civil Surgeon, Bassein ; Superintendent of the Bassein Charitable Dispensary ; and Local Superintendent of Vaccination. I regret that I have this year to report a considerable falling off in the number of vaccination cases at Bassein, and this circumstance is the more to be regretted as the results of this season's operations were eminently and typically reliable. The vaccinators commenced the season's labours, as usual, in December, with lymph supplied by Dr. Prichard, Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals, Pegu Division. With this lymph I vaccinated several last year's cases, in all of hich good cicatrices
